We went to Barcelona Spain for a few days. Because we never know if we’ll get back, we work hard to see the historical sites. So that means hustling around the town to see all the churches, historical buildings and ancient city walls we can get to.
Stand in long lines to pay to get in. Then stand in another
long line to shuffle in to read postings of the place. Then another long slow line to file past relics or artwork about the history and the discovery of the old ruins. Do a few of these and by nightfall I felt like an old ruin myself. All of this so we can say “Oh yes, we’ve seen that.”
